Steve Foster climbs into 37901 whilst it is getting a window clean. 33109 sits just north of Castlecroft,behind are the Planet,D1041 and 2062. A BR scene with 37901 awaiting to attach to the front of 37109. 37901s' headlight shines out of the tunnel. The pair head to Rawtentstall, D1501 sat on the shed. 50008 awaits its time to head north once more and looks absolutely superb- well done Gilbert and team Thunderer!

Inside the newly refurbished Bury Transport Museum. 11506 and 2062 sit on the shed. The grave of faithful shed cat Hymek, who was given his name after being found in the Hymek many years ago. An elevated view of the shed showing the two shunters and D1041 Wester Prince. 2062(03062) and 11506 sit on the shed.

2062 in heavy snow. The Spoon looking gorgeous! An 03 hauling a bubble, that hasn't happened in a while. 2062 propelling the 122 and trailer(the bubble and squeak)( towards the sidings. 55022 with the others covered in snow and locked up. 44871 in the shed. A mini kettle fest. 37418 being used as the shunter due to 08479 being flat. A shot of the whole yar with 37418 being prodominant. 2062 inside the steam sheds. Now 2062 is further in the steam sheds. Nearly home...wheres that kettle? D1501 being the marquess' replacement(nothing major). D9016 sat in Bury station waiting for its time to shine on the 9th. Having arrived the night previous. The noses together of deltic 22 and 16. 55022 still in the platform having arrived with deltic 16. D1501 is the sun and snow at Castlecroft. We made an 'unexpected'(use of an oxymoron there) stop(it was pre planned actually) at Stubbins Junction station but we had little time at this 'stop' only enough for the lads at the front to get their required snaps so I took this of the train behind. An arty shot of 37418. The snowball fight which broke out at Rawtenstall station whilst waiting to depart with 37418-10/01/10 37418 at night she still looks good. D1501 awaits permission to move into C&W December 12th. Just a small part of team 1501 stand proud in front of their loc. Left to right: Andy Jones,Gilbert Hammond and Carl Holt. The loco was took to C&W to be finished off. Now she enters the shed for.the final touches/ The number of D1501 was applied mid week. December. Looking fabulous D1501 hums away while Andy opens the shed doors and gains permission for the loco to pass the stop board. A colour image of D1501 in shed at C&W looking superb to say the least. A green gronk(D3232/08164) watches the beauty of 1501 enter the shed. D1501 awaits permission to draw into C&W Doncaster works exit road? No the entrance and exit road to C&W. Now safely in shed. The crest is now on. December 12th 2009. Back in May 2009 this was 47402 on one of its last appearances in BR blue(which is the same blue it carried in BR service, it just had the occasional touch up or polish). The cab being rubbed down ready for undercoat.September The B bank side of the loco whilst it was being rubbed down. September The drivers desk of the loco. Gilbert priming 47402s front. September. The dark green band is now on. November. Now the under coat has been applied.October Carl, Gilbert and with a little assistance from me got the new rainstrip attached to the loco on both sides. October.

Western Prince not being such a prince, its time to reign will come again though. The sight of the newly refurbished museum in the dark is quite spectacular(it is due to open in easter to the public so come along when it is open it will be something to enjoy). The thumper is now a 2 car unit, for now. 40145 looking bit cold outside C&W having been dragged out to make room for 47402. 33117 inside C&W. 50015 nearing the end of work. The 03 and Brush type 4 in position to move tomorrow. The sun sets on another productive day on D1501. An arty shot of the sets of coaching stock in the platform and the gantry at the south end of platforms 2 and 3. Doncaster works in about mid 1962? More like ELR C&W in 2009 as D1501 is given the finishing touches. D5054 awaits its attention which is needed. 55022(now with dominos) and 37418 sit awaiting the new year and their next duties. 33109 and the deltic sit quietly awaiting the new year. The sun sets over 33109 and 55022. New years eve 2009, D1501 and the dead gronk 08944 sit awaiting to pass see the new year in. D1501 attached to the 03 awaiting new years day to move. An old 30 MPH sign lies on the floor. In the early evening the 03 and 47 still wait to move. Part of an old footbridge on the old coal loading platform? at Baron Street. Bits of canopy strewn on the platform at Baron street. The 504 looking in a bad way but getting slowly better.

The fiddle yard of Holden Junction(was for sale that weekend,not sure if it still is). EWS had a brief moment holding the stabling point on the layout. My 97303 sits on the peg(which were operational). 37425 and 57011(with added headboard) sit in the stable point awaiting their next moves A shed on coal empties awaiting the signal to change so it can head away into the fiddle yard. 37670 sits in the fiddleyard of blackmill awaiting its time to move with a NR DMU behind. 37670 running on Blackmill. 56312 Dudley road with a DBS 60 and red 37. A Northern Rail 153 sits at Peter st station owned by Pete Harvey. Castell Road, during a lul in people looking round. a Shed comes in past 37670. Pete Harveys other layout, Dudley road with a pair of DS 20s and the now famous green 56303. 20063 whistles away on the layout I was operating called Castell Road. A network rail peddlebin sits on a test train. 56303 sits awaiting its next duty with 312 in the background. D55 on the rear of an engineers train during a possesion on Barras during the time when the outer route didn't work.

50008 fires up at the south end of Bury station. 50008 at the south end of Rammy The Wesmek and a dead gronk. 37418 ontop of the peak. 37418 sit awaiting our attenton(later that day) while the 101 waits to go up the line. The planet shunting loco with that dead gronk(engine fault). The cab of 37418(note the Q-tron box,which works). An unusual view of 37418 whilst repairs to the fuel pumps and timing is done. Wizzo Dave welds a new section of bodywork onto 50015. Martin Walkers 55022 sits next to Garcia Hanson's 50008 prior to the start of the day. 37418 at Rammy prior to moving out of the station to do a shunt. 50008 sat at the signal awaiting to re enter Ramsbottom to let the other train in. D5054 entres platform 4 to heywood. 37109 at Rawtenstall. 37418 hauls a poorly 50008(low on power) at Heywood.(cheers for the edit CJB) The poorly 50 on the back to bury where healthy 37109 will attach. 37418 and its lovely black headcode panel at Rawtenstall
